Statement Necklace - Wehenga

Drawing inspiration from the traditional patterns seen in M?ori meeting houses and the intricate designs of Ta Moko, the piece blends classic M?ori flair with contemporary aesthetics. Central to the design are three figures, each inspired by traditional M?ori wood carving. It tells the tale of the separation of Papatuanuku, the earth mother, and Ranginui, the sky father. Their separation ushered in the first light, marking the begining of the world.
